Products > Waste Heat Recovery Boilers / Heat Recovery Steam Generators and HTF Recovery Boilers

calderas-de-recuperacion-de-vapor-y-aceite-termico-3Application: Allow steam generation (saturated or superheated) and superheated water from flue of furnaces, gas turbines, waste liquid incinerators (HCL, H2SO4) or waste gas incinerators (Off-gas, biogas, SH2…), fuel-oil engines (2 stroke or 4 stroke), gas engines in cogeneration plants.

We are specialized in Water-Tube Boilers / Waste Heat Recovery Boiler / Heat Recovery Steam Generators with or without afterburner (postcombustion):

Natural Circulation Boiler (with vertical tubes).
Forced Circulation Boiler (with horizontal tubes).

We also specialized in HTF Recovery Boilers for Low and Medium Pressure Closed-Circuit.

Our boilers have self-cleaning systems built in for dirty gases, such as washing ramps or sootblowers (steam or compressed air) that can be used without having to stop the boiler.

We create optimized design for each turbine, engine, incinerator or furnace, adapting the design to the steam requirements of the customer, being able to overheat saturated steam and generate it simultaneously.

We provide a Turn-Key service including: Deaerator, chemical dosing system and all auxiliary systems needed by the boiler.

The main parts of a heat recovery boiler designed by AITESA are:

– An economizer is a heat exchanger that recovers part of the heat emitted by the combustion of the boiler, turbine or engine. Its purpose is to increase the temperature of the feed water or thermal fluid which goes through the tubes. The fluid can be heated up to a temperature near that of saturation.

Condensing economizers are characterised by working with cold water that produces the condensation of the water contained in the flue gases. In order to prevent corrosion, the material of this equipment must be fabricated of stainless steel.

– A superheater is a heat exchanger that allows the steam temperature to be increased. This equipment receives the steam from the steam drum.

– A vaporizer is a heat exchanger that generates steam using the energy contained in the gases from the boiler, engine or turbine.

– A deaerator is used for the removal of oxygen and other dissolved gases from the feedwater to steam generating boilers. This equipment uses part of the steam produced in the plant with the aim of saving part of the chemical products required in a dosage system.

– A steam drum is the piece of equipment where the steam is separated from the water-steam emulsion generated in the vaporizer.
