Aitesa will supply a heat recovery boiler, a combustion chamber, a heat recovery exchanger and a water treatment system, which will be installed in Burgos.
Gasification, as an alternative for the re-enhancement and management of waste, represents an interesting option both on an economic level as well as in terms of energy efficiency.
The design, manufacturing, supply and supervision of the heat recovery boiler, combustion chamber, heat recovery exchanger and water treatment system have been entrusted to Aitesa, these being necessary for the semi-industrial gasification plant, which will be installed in El Páramo de Masa (Burgos).
The treatment system has a chemical agent injection and decalcifying system, which adapts the quality of the water to required parameters for the boiler feed. The combustion chamber will allow the incineration of the process streams generated in gasification and the boiler will allow this energy to be harnessed, sending steam to the process.
With these types of plants, greater efficiency in terms of the use of own energy resources is achieved, by transforming “waste” material into electric and thermal energy. This is a new step in the progress made towards sustainable development, both in environmental and economic terms.
