“Improvements at the Isomax unit” Project at the Gibraltar-San Roque Refinery owned by CEPSA

CEPSA has awarded AITESA the turn key project of reforms in the fired heaters LX-H1 and LX-H200 located at the Refinery of Gibraltar-San Roque.
The reaction heater LX-H1 is vertical cylindrical and has got 4 forced draft burners.
The project involves the development of engineering, including the validation of the heater, the supply and the installation of new burners, the instrumentation necessary for adapting the fuel lines to the specification of CEPSA ESP-0200-7 and the ignition system and monitoring call.
The reaction furnace LX-H200 is vertical cylindrical and has 4 forced draft burners.
The project consists of the development of engineering, including validation of the heater, supply and installation of new burners, instrumentation necessary for adapting the fuel lines to the specification of CEPSA ESP-0200-7 and ignition system and flame supervision.
Additionally, 10 of the existing plain rows of the fired heater LXH-200 will be replaced by 10 finned rows in order to comply with the new operating conditions and offer the heater a greater flexibility.
The assembly corresponding to this improvement of both heaters will be done in two phases.
