Aitesa has signed a Turnkey contract with the company Bunge Ibérica for its cogeneration plant in Bilbao and in the port of Barcelona.

The project involves improving the existing recovery system. A new vaporisation model with a low pressure accumulator will be installing between the existing fire-tube boiler and economiser. The greatest difficulty with this project is in placing the new equipment in a very small space of the warehouse, making it necessary to disassemble part of the roof avoiding interference with an existing rack, during a 4-weeks shutdown plant. The steam will initially be used in the existing steam deaerator.

Aitesa will carry out the entire process for the project, including management of the same, and also engineering, supplies, assembly, start up and operation from October – November 2014.
